Human beings are constantly seeking clarity. The idea of making things clearer makes decision-making and moving into action easier. However, many people focus on the thing that they want in an attempt to make things clearer.
This may not be the best technique. Rather than focusing on the thing that you want, it is more useful to stop focusing on the other distractions around you. The key is not to bring something into focus, but rather, to get all the other distractions out of focus.
